The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) have officially announced the final batch of the entries and completed the "Magic 8" movies for this year's film festival which is set on Christmas Day.

The final four (4) movies for the film festival are as follows:

• Mary, Marry Me
• One Great Love
• OTLUM
• Rainbow's Sunset

The 2nd annual Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino formally kicks off last Wednesday, August 15 2018 in all cinemas in the Philippines. It will last until Tuesday, August 21 2018.

About Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino:
Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (translated in English: Festival of Filipino Films) (PPP) is a film festival held in the Philippines in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika (translated in English: Language Month). It is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. It is similar to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), only shortlisted films will be shown in cinemas except in 3D or IMAX theaters.

The second annual Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino will showing in the Philippine cinemas on August 15-21, 2018 as part of the celebration of Buwan ng Wika. There are 8 film main entries with 5 special features sections in/on the line-up this year 2018.

Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will be held on Saturday, March 24,2018 @ The Forum

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (also known as the KCAs, Kids' Choice , or Kids' Choice Awards) is a 90-minute-long annual awards show that airs on Nickelodeon. Usually held on a Saturday day, morning, or night in late March or early April, the show that honors the year's biggest television, movie, and music acts as voted by Nickelodeon viewers.

This year, WWE Superstar John Cena will return as the host of KCA.

The event will be held on The Forum, Inglewood, California, US on Saturday, March 24,2018 @ 8:00 PM (PST).

Winners receive a hollow orange blimp figurine, a logo outline for much of the network's 1984–2009 era, which also functions as a kaleidoscope.
