About Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino:
Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (translated in English: Festival of Filipino Films) (PPP) is a film festival held in the Philippines in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika (translated in English: Language Month). It is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. It is similar to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), only shortlisted films will be shown in cinemas except in 3D or IMAX theaters.

The second annual Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino will showing in the Philippine cinemas on August 15-21, 2018 as part of the celebration of Buwan ng Wika. There are 8 film main entries with 5 special features sections in/on the line-up this year 2018.
