About Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino:
Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (translated in English: Festival of Filipino Films) (PPP) is a film festival held in the Philippines in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika (translated in English: Language Month). It is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. It is similar to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), only shortlisted films will be shown in cinemas except in 3D or IMAX theaters.

The second annual Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino will showing in the Philippine cinemas on August 15-21, 2018 as part of the celebration of Buwan ng Wika. There are 8 film main entries with 5 special features sections in/on the line-up this year 2018.

1st batch for Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 movies are officially announced

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has officially released the first four movies for the said film festival this Christmas Day, (December 25, 2018).

The 1st four movies for the film festival are as follows:

• Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and The Perya
• Girl in the Orange Dress
• Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles

The 2nd and last batch of the final four entries for the festival will be announced soon.

After a two years of the beginning, Movies Time celebrates its 2nd year anniversary today March 19,2018. 

As part of our celebration, Movies Time will launch it's new, temporary, and first logo.
